Entaris: The Land of Chaos Reborn

Fifty years ago, the Incarnation of Chaos, the primordial goddess Akoras, escaped from the prison where she had been bound at the beginning of time. Since her return, chaos has permeated the world, manifesting itself through magic and causing the event known today as the Changing.

Without magic to maintain their societal structures, edifices of society crumbled to ruin as this newly chaotic magic destroyed cities and slaughtered their citizens. Areas where magic had been concentrated for long periods literally exploded as the magical energy that had seeped into the earth over time was suddenly suffused with chaos. People moved away from the larger cities, but soon found new dangers as terrible and deadly as those they had left behind.

Today, society is slowly rising from the rubble and confusion of the Changing. Cities are beginning to rebuild, but smaller, more nuclear, and less populous than before. Many people, still cautious of the havoc that occurred in cities, prefer to remain outside their boundaries. Society has not yet recovered from the Changing, and individuals of all walks of life still find themselves under constant threat from chaos magic, monsters, and the opportunistic raiders of their own kinds who sprung up in the wake of the Changing.

Entaris: The Land of Chaos Reborn (Version 1) currently features:

• A new ruleset that infuses magic with chaos
• A new setting with 6 detailed countries and dozens of chaos points
• 4 new backgrounds based on the organizations of Entaris
• A new species born of chaos
• 3 pages of chaos effects
• 7 new magical artifacts with custom art

Planned features for future releases of Entaris include:

• Random encounter tables for each major location
• A new species born of the Sun God, the enemy of Akoras
• 4 new classes based on chaos and the organizations of Entaris
• A 5th organization, the Adventurers' Lodge
• Custom art for the two new species
• Expanded lore including a custom pantheon and local legends
